Global Warming Behind Australia’s ‘Angry Summer’: Study

Man made global warming was likely a significant contributing factor in Australia’s “Angry Summer” of 2012-2013, according to a new study. It was the country’s hottest on record and featured devastating wildfires as well as widespread flooding.

Seismic Gap Outside of Istanbul

Earthquake researchers have now identified a 30 kilometers long and ten kilometers deep area along the North Anatolian fault zone just 15 to 20 kilometers south from the historic city center of Istanbul, that could be the starting point for a strong earthquake.
