Trying to create visual representations of what our climate futures might look like is always a taxing and delicate task. Computer-generated images of our familiar coastal cities inundated with sea water certainly attract attention, but they also perhaps, get slammed for being “alarmist”, especially if they are imagined around worst-case predictions.
