From Melbourne to Manhattan, hundreds of thousands of demonstrators of all ages and from around the world turned out for the massive People’s Climate March Sunday, to urge policy makers to take action on climate change.
World Greenhouse Emissions Threaten Warming Goal
Emissions of greenhouse gases are rising so fast that within one generation the world will have used up its margin of safety for limiting global warming to 2°C (3.6°F), an international team of scientists warned Sunday.
