Cabo Pulmo Beach, Baja.
Cabo Pulmo Park, is located on the east coast of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, 60 miles north of Baja’s tourism epicenter, Los Cabos. Surrounded by undeveloped desert and a stunning mountain range, the pristine beaches of Cabo Pulmo Park give way to a shallow bay that cradles one of three living reefs (the only hard coral reef) in North America. Created in 1995, Cabo Pulmo, which is described as “the world’s healthiest marine reserve,” harbors the best-preserved coral reef in the Mexican Pacific. The park is home to whale sharks, manta rays, humpback whales and sea turtles as they migrate up and down the coast. Captions: WWF.
