Blue Tridacna gigas. Tridacna is a genus of large and gigantic saltwater clams, the largest living marine bivalve mollusks, and can weigh up to 200 kgs (440 pounds). These clams, are common inhabitants of thе coral reefs οf thе South Pacific аnd Indian oceans and live in shallower waters, flat coral sand or broken coral and can be found at depth of as much as 20 m (66 ft).
